Creating a welcoming, respectful, and edifying environment for all participants during our 9-day celebration
Our Commitment to Community
Feast of Tabernacles 2025 is a sacred time of fellowship, worship, and celebration. We are committed to creating an environment where all participants feel welcome, respected, and able to grow in their faith. This code of conduct reflects biblical principles of love, respect, modesty, and service that guide our community interactions.

Community Guidelines
๐ Modesty and Dress Code
We ask all participants to dress modestly and appropriately, reflecting biblical principles of modesty and respect for others.
- Clothing should be neat, clean, and modest
- Clothing should not be tight-fitting or revealing
- Dresses, shirts, and skirts should be knee-length or longer
- Shirts should have sleeves and neckline modesty
- Avoid clothing with inappropriate messages, images, or symbols
- Remember we represent Yahweh in our appearance
- Men: Shirts should be worn at all public gatherings
- Women: Avoid low-cut or form-fitting clothing
Note: These guidelines help maintain an atmosphere of reverence and respect. If you have questions about appropriate attire, please ask any elder or coordinator.
๐ค Acts of Service
Service to others is a cornerstone of our faith and community life. During Tabernacles, we encourage everyone to participate in acts of service.
๐ฝ๏ธ Meal Service
- Prepare and coordinate ahead for assigned meals
- If you have dietary restrictions, please inform Krysten in advance
- If you cannot fulfill your meal assignment, please find a replacement and communicate with Krysten
Even if you are not assigned cleaning/serving duties, your help is always appreciated!
๐งน Daily Maintenance
- Keep common areas clean and tidy
- Help with setup and takedown of meeting spaces
- Assist with trash and recycling management
๐ถ Care and Assistance
- Help elderly participants with mobility or needs
- Assist parents with young children when appropriate
- Offer help carrying items or setting up accommodations
- Be available to help with any special needs

How we speak and interact with one another reflects our faith and creates the atmosphere of our community.
Speech and Language
- Use clean, respectful language at all times
- Avoid profanity, crude jokes, or inappropriate humor
- Speak kindly of others, even when absent
- Use the sacred names (Yahweh, Yahshua) respectfully
- Engage in edifying conversation
Conflict Resolution
- Address concerns directly with the person involved
- Speak in love and with the goal of restoration
- Involve elders when mediation is needed
- Seek forgiveness and offer forgiveness freely
Discussion and Teaching
- Listen respectfully to different perspectives
- Ground discussions in Scripture
- Avoid argumentative or contentious attitudes
- Be open to learning and correction
- Maintain unity while discussing differences

We welcome families and children as essential parts of our community celebration.
Children's Supervision
- Parents are responsible for supervising their children
- Children should be taught to respect others and property
- Quiet behavior is expected during services and Bible study
- Community members may kindly redirect children when needed
Community Support
- Offer help to parents with multiple children
- Include children in appropriate service activities
- Be patient and understanding with families
- Help create a child-friendly environment
- Teach children through example and kindness
๐ Facilities and Property
We are stewards of the facilities and resources provided for our gathering.
- Respect Property: Treat all facilities and equipment with care
- Clean Up: Leave areas cleaner than you found them
- Quiet Hours: Observe quiet times (10pm - 7am) for rest and consideration of others
- Safety First: Report any safety concerns immediately
- Shared Spaces: Be considerate of others when using common areas
- Personal Items: Keep personal belongings organized and secure preferably in your room/tent. If private food is stored in the community fridge, please label.
๐ฑ Technology and Media
While technology can be useful, we encourage mindful use that enhances rather than detracts from our fellowship.
- During Services: Silence phones and devices during worship and Bible study
- Photography: Ask permission before photographing others or their children
- Social Media: Be respectful in any posts about the event
Community Standards
๐ค Mutual Accountability
We believe in gentle, loving accountability among believers. If you notice behavior that doesn't align with these guidelines, please address it with love and humility, following biblical principles of restoration.
"Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted." - Galatians 6:1
๐ฅ Elder Involvement
Our elders and coordinators are available to help with any concerns or conflicts that arise. They are committed to maintaining a peaceful, edifying environment while showing grace and understanding to all participants.

In rare cases of serious misconduct or behavior that threatens the safety or well-being of others, elders may need to take appropriate action, which could include asking someone to leave the gathering. Our goal is always restoration and maintaining the peace and safety of the community.
